Tuesday March 1st
7:30am presents and coffee with birthday crown
8:30am fall asleep on Rudy's bed while kneeling on the floor (birthday crown still on)
9am birthday trip (with multi-colored scarves) to the recycling bin with Rudy, Margot and Bert the toy guinea pig
11:30am volunteer at Rudy's school
3pm birthday lunch with brownies and ice cream 'cake'
Thursday March 3rd Peter and Maren arrive for a surprise visit
Saturday March 5th best friend Doug arrives with wife Kathy and kids for a surprise celebration at a favorite sushi restaurant (we used to go there all the time and have not been since Rudy was a baby)! Here are John and Peter admiring the beer selection that Doug (center) brought for us to enjoy prior to heading to the restaurant. It was quite a night!
