This afternoon, as I sat working at the table in the sunroom, Rudy came in and told me, in a very matter-of-fact tone: "I can't really be friends with cats."
Margot is such an easy baby. She sleeps so well, only waking up once a night already. She eats like a pro and doesn't really cry much at all, except when she's hungry or when we take her out of the bath, which she loves more than anything. She kicks her legs like a crazy girl and grins and gets all wide eyed and breathy. It's very amusing and sweet. Rudy has really become quite enamored with her after a good three months of general distain. He speaks to her in a very high quiet voice and pats and strokes her gently (better than hitting and biting any day)!Margot thinks Rudy is the best thing ever, smiling at him and tracking his every move. oh, and she's started giggling this week too, although it sounds more like a short gaffaw followed by a gurgle!
