Word games

We had so much fun during bath time tonight. Rudy was talking up a storm. He's up to 7 word sentences now which can be completely astonishing at times. Especially when he says things like "Rudy shoveling snow out in the back yard", or "more strawberries on plate up at table". Tonight we played a mimicking game as it was just too hard to resist!

We forgot to show you little girl

Here she is at 20 weeks. I am now 24.5 weeks along. Both top and right images are her in profile. The long zipper in the top image is her spine, plus you can see the chambers of her heart. The left image is of her hand doing a thumbs up. I guess all is well in the womb.

so many fun things to do!

Discovering colored pencils

Faces for lunch (cheddar bunnies for hair, sandwiches and raisins for eyes, cucumber for nose, apples and cranberries for mouth). Mama had fun with this too!

Wearing coon skin cap from Big Poppy on a big adventure

and trying on Mama's enormous pink wellies. Do they fit?

Puddles have been the biggest joy. Observe the concentration with which he watches his own feet in the water. A new sensation and one we all take for granted.

caught you

This is the face we normally get when we attempt to take Rudy's photo.

Here I finally managed to catch his mischievous grin!

Cooking with "working apron" and oven mitts. One of Rudy's favorite books right now is "Thomas bakes a Cake" about a little boy who bakes a "scrumptious" cake. We have a very battered (oops, no pun intended!) and well loved copy handed down from Gran and Papa.
