Bumps and bruises

Someone told me that this is the age of the 'crown of bruises'. They could not have been more right. Rudy has had a black eye and a 2 inch Ash Wednesday smudge-like bruise in the past 3 weeks. Check it out! The first was sustained on the edge of our bed frame and the second on a door frame. He's definitely a lot more steady on his feet now!


and a bruising look to top it off...

This one has gone through every color of the rainbow. Everyone tries to wipe the dirt off his forehead and is instantly shocked by the severity of the blow. Poor lad. He did look like a Star Trek Klingon for a few days with a triangle shaped forehead.

children's museum

Rudy went with his best friend, Jane (and Jane's Mum, Anne), to the Children's museum. He was a little overwhelmed at first and just wanted to go outside. After he warmed up we explored for a couple of hours and as you can imagine he slept very well that night! It really reminded me of going to the Children's Museum in Boston with Matt and Becca. Sorry Tri, I don't think we went with you. Let's go next summer!!!
