We walked and walked around this beautiful city. It was blistering hot, so we went slowly and steadily for the pregnant lady, with many water stops along the way.

There is a great clash of modern and old architecture in Montreal. We loved how this church had been painted red and also it's juxtaposition to the modern office building.

There was a Mozart Festival happening while we were there and we were able to hear the Montreal Orchestra play in the Notre-Dame Bassilica. It was so beautiful.

And this folks, is how we ate (only once you'll be glad to hear)! It was sooo good. Schwartz's Deli has lines going down the block to get in. John ate this entire beef sandwich (melt in your mouth brisket) and I could only manage half of my smoked turkey! I wasn't able to stomach a lot of the rich food and ate endless plates of fruit. For our anniversay we went to a French Bistro "Le Petit Extra" where we had an amazing meal - John did win that night as he got to drink wine AND eat the fish soup, which was more rich than a lobster bisque. mmm.
